Featuring the pinpoint-accurate flight model, complex systems, and incredible auditory, and gorgeous visual model you'd expect from COWS, but packed in a nimble single-engine workhorse; the DA40-XLS is meticulously tailored for students to practice critical procedures and maneuvers.

Seismic Stunner

The model builds upon our commitment to delivering a high-fidelity visual model. Every component is meticulously accounted for during the production of the 3D and texturing models through painstaking recreation using thousands of reference photos and scans of actual DA40s. Enhanced by the powerful rendering engine of Microsoft Flight Simulator, the plane exudes stunning beauty from every perspective.

The flight model is handcrafted from hundreds of hours of expert instructor feedback, delivering an exceptionally accurate performance reflective of the real aircraft throughout all flight stages, including performance maneuvers, precision landings, and power-off landings.

• Replicated performance and behaviors on maneuvers from FAA’s Commercial Airplane ACS to include: Lazy Eights, Chandelles, Steep Spirals, and 8s-on-Pylons

Moving forward

The DA40-XLS features a comprehensive engine simulation that replicates the unique behavioral characteristics behind the IO360 Lycoming engine, which is used in many other General Aviation aircraft. Across all stages of flight, the Lycoming engine commands attention with bespoke simulated manifold pressure, RPM, combustion, fuel and oil systems, and custom user-generated engine variance for a unique experience.
