Notodden is a small airport in the southern part of Norway. Main features includes a large maintenance hangar, winter-storage of planes, and sailplane activity. There are 2 airlines operating at the airport, with daily flights to Stavanger and Bergen. There is also a dock for seaplanes.
The runway is 1400 meters long, but is separated in the middle by a public road with crossing road traffic. Be sure to be at minimum 130 feet MSL when crossing the road. Full runway length is available at certain hours of the day when the charter companies land and depart with their Beechcraft. Make sure to add this to your EU Norway collection!
