The Pioneer of Stealth Developed in secret by Lockheed’s legendary Skunk Works, the F-117A Nighthawk was the world’s first operational stealth aircraft. Its radical "faceted" design was engineered to deflect radar waves, allowing it to penetrate the most heavily defended airspace in total silence.

Combat Proven The Nighthawk became an aviation icon during the 1991 Gulf War, where it successfully struck high-value targets with surgical precision. Despite its "retirement" in 2008, the F-117A continues to fly today as a specialized training adversary, proving that its groundbreaking technology remains relevant in the modern era. In total, 64 F-117s were built.
