Dresden Airport (IATA: DRS, ICAO: EDDC) is located about 9 km north of Dresden’s historic city center. The airport features a unique terminal built inside a former aircraft assembly hall, giving it one of the most distinctive airport architectures in Germany. With a 2,850-meter runway and modern infrastructure, the airport accommodates passenger flights, cargo operations, and large maintenance facilities, making it an important aviation gateway for eastern Germany.
