Asobo C208B Grand Caravan Precision Audio Pack

Experience Echo 19's award-winning sound design in a whole new way. This is our second in-house audio package that carries the EchoFX standard, and it's built to redefine everything you hear in the default Asobo C208B Grand Caravan.

This isn't sampled from YouTube. This isn't "close enough." We partnered with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) to capture a live Cessna 208B EX in extreme detail, with over 12 microphones and recording perspectives. Every startup, every throttle sweep, every flyby was recorded on location and rebuilt from the ground up.

This is what the Grand Caravan is supposed to sound like.

The PT6. Like You've Never Heard It.

New engine sounds recorded from the real aircraft, and designed to capture the full character of the PT6. From a cold, dark cockpit to full power on the runway, the turboprop comes alive with realism that the default sound package simply doesn't deliver.

Propeller Audio Redefined.

Inside the cockpit, you'll experience true ambisonic 3D surround. Hear and feel the propeller's tone change as you line up, roll out, and lift off. The sound shifts around you exactly the way it does in the real aircraft. Outside, every phase of flight is recreated in full 360-degree audio. New flyby and distant ambience sounds bring your virtual "spotting" sessions to life with convincing depth and presence.

Every Switch. Every Lever. Every Detail.

We recorded every cockpit interaction firsthand. Switches, buttons, levers, dials, doors, baggage compartments... if you can touch it, we captured it. All faithfully recreated from our own source recordings.

Systems That Actually Sound Real

New audio features that the default doesn't even attempt, such as AC ventilation fans and bleed-air heating (active while the engine is running). We’ve also updated the fuel pump and flap motor sounds, adding a layer of immersion you didn't know was missing.

Headphone Simulation

A convenient built-in option that lets you simulate wearing a headset, reducing ambient noise for a more focused cockpit experience whenever you want.

The EchoFX Standard

Superb detail. Spatial Sound support. Added realism through prop-wash effects, rattling movements, and dozens of subtle audio cues that make the aircraft feel more alive. This is the benchmark we hold to every EchoFX release.

Just for fun, we're including 10 all-new optional liveries for passenger, cargo, and float variants. Fly our house paint schemes, two official MAF liveries (including the exact tail number we recorded), and familiar schemes like FedEx, DHL, and more.
