The Quasar is a fictional aircraft. Lord Frites came up with the idea in December 2023, and it began to take shape in his mind. Two years later, here is a finished aircraft that flies exceptionally well in Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The Quasar pushes the boundaries of these simulated worlds to their limits and brings unique gameplay mechanisms.

The Flying Fries team is extremely proud of this aircraft, our most ambitious and complex project to date. Fly to the edge of space, reach Mach 7.8 (approximately 5,000 knots ground speed), and manage your fuel burn and fuel production rates to reach any destination thousands of miles away. Then, head west and race the sun. Overtake our star, then carefully manage your descent, and finally land at high speed on a runway which will be barely long enough to bring this heavy spaceship to a complete stop.
You can also choose to transport rare and precious cargo from one location to another, thanks to the easy-to-use mission generator. With almost 3,000 registered airports and 100 cargo types, you will face infinite challenges and have many opportunities to witness the beauty of this virtual rendition of Earth.
