This soundpack for Leonardo Fly The MaddogX captures that identity with over 230 custom-made sounds and events, all developed from the ground up using high-resolution 48kHz field recordings. Every sound has been surgically cleaned, edited, and engineered for crystal clarity throughout the entire flight - from cold and dark to shutdown.

More than 8 months of obsessive development and countless hours of refining went into this project to bring you one of the most comprehensive and faithful MD-80 sound experiences ever created for any flight simulation platform. You'll hear the unique howl of the air conditioning packs, the mechanical clack of switches, the signature hum of the avionics bay, and the iconic buzz of JT8D on every takeoff.   • Authentic and dynamic gear up and down sounds
  • Fully simulated nose gear rotation and retraction thumps and rattles
  • Detailed taxi, takeoff, and landing rolls with nose gear whine, rumbles, runway center light thumps, etc.
  • Dynamic nose wheel steering sounds, depending on nose wheel angle and speed (can be disabled, read below)
  • Authentic FO window leak whistle during climb, found in some MD-8x models (can be disabled, read below)
  • Nose gear steering sounds and FO window leak whistle can be disabled and enabled using the left digital light knob (behind the CPT yoke)
  • Cockpit engine sounds can be adjusted via the center digital light knob! From no engine sounds, to authentic, all the way to the cabin like max setting! We got you covered!
  • You need some fresh air? Open the cockpit window(s) and enjoy all the authentic sounds that your MD-8x produces
