Developed in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, Jurassic World: Archipelago invites you to explore the legendary Muertes Archipelago in stunning detail.

Now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, this expansive flight simulation experience brings Jurassic World to life like never before, fully recreated in its real-world location, off the coast of Costa Rica.

Set just before the events of the 2015 Jurassic World film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the islands are captured at a moment when the park is operational but not everything is under control. Isla Nublar hums with activity: monorails weave through the jungle, the Innovation Center stands tall, and the island is ready for guests. Meanwhile, Isla Sorna remains untouched - its abandoned structures slowly being reclaimed by nature.

Fly between islands, land at iconic locations, and take on aviation challenges: like VIP Transport and Guided Tour activities. You can even head to the mainland, complete with a custom ferry port and upgraded international airport, including a Jurassic World inspired VIP terminal.


Finally, you have a chance to see what lies beyond the park gates!

Important Compatibility Notes

Bringing the Jurassic islands to MSFS 2020 involves navigating the technical differences between the older engine and the new MSFS 2024 platform. Consequently, a few features appear in a reduced form.

Most notably, the World Map relies on fixed satellite data, so the fictitious islands will not be visible during flight planning. Additionally, the custom Supply & Rescue missions are not supported, and specific environmental details such as the tall "raptor grass" at the Sorna airstrip as well as procedural cliffs are unavailable. You may also notice some lower-resolution ground textures and occasional dark tiles when moving quickly across the terrain in Drone or Free Camera mode.

However, the adventure remains as exciting as ever. Despite these engine limitations, the full Jurassic World: Archipelago scenery is present, featuring all five islands, detailed POIs, animated dinosaurs, ambient sounds, and custom activities ready for exploration.
