Orbx Santa Run 2023

Ho Ho Ho! It's time to seize Santa's sleigh for the Christmas season, help him locate the Christmas hats, and deliver them to the Elf Gift Depot where you will find Santa!

Competition Rules:

1. Join our Discord Channel and share your discoveries there.
2. Fly to the different locations and use the provided clues to locate the Christmas hats
3. Each location will have three Christmas hats to be found - make sure to take a screenshot for each Christmas hat you locate
4. Find the hidden Elf Gift Depot and capture a screenshot of Santa
5. Remember you must take screenshots showing the number of Christmas hats collected at each location
6. Track your flight using Volanta and share your Volanta screenshots along with your competition entry to increase your chances of winning
7. Submit your screenshots by 24 Dec 23:59 UTC
8. Entries will be judged based on creativity, accuracy, and completeness - extra points will be awarded for tracking your flight with Volanta
9. Have Fun and spread the holiday cheer!

List of Locations and Clues:

1. YMML Melbourne International Airport

• Spanning 160,000 hectares, these open fields in Melbourne boast some of the world's purest drinking water. Grab a drink while you collect presents, and of course the Christmas hat
• Located 15 minutes from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, stop at this established Cricket Club for a beer or a game, and plenty of Christmas goodies
• Find your star at this popular family reserve park, located in Pascoe Vale Victoria
• Sitting at the bottom of the valley, you'll find a very jolly man and his little elf friends at this popular Sporting club

2. Landmarks Auckland

• Make sure your finances are in check as you fly over this building. Don't forget to collect the Christmas hat and other Christmas goodies nearby as well
• This Christmas hat sits high and proud on the Maersk line carrier, located at a wharf that was constructed in the late 1970's and developed to handle containers
• Located in Auckland, you'll find a Christmas hat on the highest point of this community church
• Known to have hosted its first cricket match in 1930, this park is the home grounds for Auckland's Cricket Team

3. Landmarks Dublin

• Find a Christmas hat on the rooftop of this medical institution, established in 1945, which is now a popular destination for new parents
• Go for the hunt, stay for a show at the Grand Canal Square. This Christmas hat is truly hard to find. Pay particular attention to the glass
• Collect a Christmas hat from the port, 2 miles from the centre of Ireland's vibrant capital city
• Close to the Irish National War Memorial Gardens are grounds known to draw crowds for Gaelic Football, Camogie and Hurling, a popular stick and ball game officially only played by men

Competition ends:

24 Dec 23:59 UTC. For Microsoft Flight Simulator only. Must have Orbx Central. Max 25 entries per person. Winners will be notified via Discord no later than January 15, 2024.
